You were just an ordinary girl, at the young age of seventeen. Yes, you had believed in the guardians but had lost your belief by the age of around about thirteen when you replaced the guardians with material possessions, such as makeup, clothes and any other particular interests you had, and you just felt like the guardians were just for kids now.
